We do not recommend you take your car through a tunnel car wash system as it will put swirl marks in the ceramic coating and ruin the paint job as well as integrity of the coating itself. Instaed we advise using a (Touchless) car wash. We do not recommend you take your car through a tunnel car wash system as it will put swirl marks on the coating and void the warranty. We offer monthly maintenance cleaning for all of our ceramic customers who get a ceramic coating applied by MJ Auto Detailing.

Installing the Ceramic Coating
When we finalize the correction process, our MJ Auto Detailing technicians apply the Nasiol ZR53 ceramic coating by hand with a one-inch soft foam applicator. We top off this coat with a special nano-ceramic sealant composed of silicon dioxide and titanium dioxide to give your car an extra layer of immunity. The last step is to ensure the ceramic coat cures for 6 hours to achieve a hydrophobic surface and a permanent bond.

A properly applied ceramic coat will show water beads (a phenomenon that occurs on the body paint when water droplets form on top of the painted surface instead of sticking). We make sure the coating is maintained in a controlled environment during the curing time to ensure proper bonding to the car’s paint.
